Overview of the New SUVs

The first SUV, called Victoris, will be available through the Arena dealership network. It features a bold, futuristic design and is equipped with advanced features such as ambient lighting, a gesture-controlled powered tailgate, and LED headlamps.

The second upcoming SUV is likely a three-row version of the popular Grand Vitara. Targeted at larger families, this premium model will be available through the Nexa network, aiming to compete against established three-row rivals.

Engine Choices and Technology

Both vehicles will offer multiple engine options: petrol, strong hybrid, and CNG for Victoris. The Grand Vitara’s new variant is expected to offer petrol and hybrid setups, focusing on efficiency and performance tailored to Indian roads.

Safety, Features, and Comfort

Maruti Suzuki’s premium SUVs will include the newest safety technologies: collision mitigation braking, lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring, surround view cameras, tire pressure monitoring, and up to six airbags in top trims. Comfort amenities such as panoramic sunroofs, ventilated front seats, wireless charging, and fully digital instrument clusters are expected.

Market Launch and Pricing

Production has begun, with Victoris anticipated to launch around October 2025 and its three-row sibling expected by November. Prices are likely to start near ₹9.75 lakh for the Victoris and ₹14 lakh for the Grand Vitara three-row, with higher trims extending up to ₹20 lakh. This positions Maruti Suzuki to strengthen its leadership in India’s rapidly growing SUV segment.

These new premium SUVs are poised to set industry standards for technology, safety, and comfort, aligning with the current demands of Indian automotive customers.
